More Fun and More Busy

I wrote in this blog once already today but I was in a mood for taking pictures so I took a few to post - just for fun. I've been doing Project 365 (a picture a day/every day of the year) since January 1st, 2009 and have been restricting myself to posting (on Facebook and my Project 365 blog) one picture a day for the project. Some days I'd like to be able to post more pictures and I thought this general blog would be a great place to do so without breaking the P365 "rules".

After I wrote in here this morning, I rode my bike - for 35 minutes. I went 7.9 kms (although I'm not really sure if this bike measures kms or miles) and burned 474.8 calories.
Then I made lunch. I had a pita pocket filled with hummus, cucumbers, broccoli sprouts, tomatoes, avocado and baby spinach leaves along with an orange and green tea. It was yummy.

This is the Women's Cookbook Christine bought me during the holidays:

and the Slow Cooker Mediterranean Minestrone Casserole I'm making from it as we "speak".
And now I think I'll turn my attention to printing out more of my Project 365 - 2009 project. I spent some time on it last weekend and would like to have it caught up sooner than later so I don't get too far behind with the 2010 P365 album. I have finished printing the photos to the end of September and journalling to July 11th.

  1. Very interesting blog you have going on here. I love your color scheme, how did you do that? Is there a template or did you design your own?

So you burned that many calories in 35mins? Wow, good for you! I was just talking about my bike tonight, not enough time in a day it seems. I am going to attempt to incorporate it into my reading, that just might work!

Keep up the awesome work Jewel, busy, busy, busy... but as long as your heart is dancing, why not? :-)

  2. Thanks. :-) I want to learn how to do my own blog template but this is one from thecutestblogontheblock.com Christine told me about it and walked me through setting it up on the phone. It's very easy though.

I burned that many calories because of my weight. The more you weigh, the more calories you burn, plus yesterday I rode pretty hard for part of my "ride" (on higher levels).
